SENIOR STYLIST
Aminnah Charife, is a fashion stylist and fashion blogger based in Toronto. Growing up, both her mother and grandmother ran successful sewing businesses which fuelled her love of fashion at a young age. She watched as her mother and grandmother would turn a piece of fabric into dresses, costumes, drapes and so much more. Experiencing the creative process of fashion firsthand led her to pursue a career in the fashion industry herself.
In 2017, the Ottawa native moved to Toronto where she earned a diploma in Arts from Seneca College. Being from a small city, she knew that making the move to Toronto would enable her to meet like minded creatives and have access to greater opportunities and resources, ultimately allowing her to further excel in the fashion industry.
Since living in Toronto, Aminnah has both assisted and directed many styling projects. She began by utilizing her social media platforms to showcase her personal style and aesthetic. Her edgy and versatile outfits have been featured in various fashion blogs and columns such as Essence magazine. She has also worked with a number of prominent fashion brands including Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, Meshki and the Hundreds. While developing her personal brand, she found that her strengths and passion lie in styling. She has since styled models, musicians, celebrity athletes and campaigns for clothing brands within Toronto. Harnessing style as a tool, Aminnah has demonstrated through her work how fashion can be used as the ultimate form of self-expression, creativity and individuality.
