Certified Bad Guys (CBG) are an exceptional afrobeat and afro fusion-centric group comprised of three talented artists: Double R Oscarr, Omaremii, and B.O.S. With each member bringing their unique blend to the group, The Certified Bad Guys delivers a captivating and refreshing musical experience.
Now based in Canada, CBG draws inspiration from their strong ties to the motherland, Nigeria. Omaremii, a singer and producer, plays a crucial role in crafting CBG's distinctive sound. He infuses it with a touch of his creative prowess. B.O.S, known for his poetic lyricism and rap-centered style brings a wealth of experience as a sound engineer. Meanwhile, Double R Oscarr, not only an incredible rapper but also a professional model, contributes his versatility with captivating hooks and memorable verses.
Together these Certified Bad Guys are ready to take the world by storm. They have already opened for artists such as Burna Boy, Teni, and Davido, showcasing their talent on esteemed stages all over Toronto such as El Mocambo, Lee's Palace & most recently Budweiser Stage (Toronto) opening for International act DAVIDO on the Budweiser Stage this summer . CBG is garnering a lot of attention with the success of their previous releases "Gyalist," "Up," & "New Product” which have all been featured on CBC Music's The Block.
Recently, these Certified Bad Guys signed a record deal with Nycesound Production, a Toronto-based label which marked a significant milestone for the group. More than just a group, CBG is a movement aiming to transcend the boundaries of afrobeats & afro-fusion globally.
